Thanks to all those who made our Tribute to Bobby D (11.07.09) such a memorable evening.  We shared lots of music and memories and raised significant funds that will keep this Bobby D and the Mixx web site going for a good long time.  And we've just made some significant improvements to the site...

You'll find that the musical clips of the band's music have been replaced by full length versions of the songs.  These songs were recorded by Bobby D and the Mixx during live concerts in Westwood in the fall of 2007 and 2008.  

Go to the LISTEN page at and experience the music for yourself.  We'll also be putting these songs together on a CD that will be available on the site.  If you'd like to receive a copy of this CD drop us an email and we'll let you know how to get one.  

Thanks again to all the performers at Bobby D's Tribute: Butch, Myke, Bubbles, Chuck and Wayman of Soup’s Ready, our outstanding vocalists Zuri, Kym Foley, Sarah, Rik and the rest of the band from Sidetracs, as well as the phenomenal tap dancing talents of Gary Baynes Jr.  And we have to send a special thanks to Saski for helping organize things and making the donations possible (not to mention her own generous contribution!).  We know that somewhere, somehow, Bobby D is smiling at the thought that he brought us all together once again.  In the words of Zuri, "Peace and soul train."
